What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes? Our fund raising activities have raised vital funds which has enabled the school to buy resources it previously did not have the money for. Each fundraiser has been well supported by parents & the wider community in our village of Gilford, Co Down. How can the benefits
identified above be demonstrated? We have been any to donate funds to our Principal who has purchased an online reading programme called Accelerated Reading for our p4 - p7 pupils as well as additional class desks for pupils which were needed to adhere to social distancing following Covid. Our principal also purchased outdoor play equipment & the Numicon multi sensory Maths module. Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes? No. Who are the charity's beneficiaries? Our pupils, parents & the wider Gilford community. Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary? No.
What your organisation does
To date we have organised various fund raising events for our school: Non uniform day, Christmas disco, Easter raffle & hamper, Pub quiz & a craft fair in our school hall.
