Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from the organisation's purposes are improved community cohesion, building intergenerational relations and improving social isolation by increasing communication with all residents about their aspirations and concerns within the estates relating to health, safety and security of all residents. This can be demonstrated by
an improved overall appearance of the Ratheen Greenvale and Sullenboy estates achieved by working in conjunction with residents and statutory agencies and by increasing participation in both our social activities and community clean ups. There is no harm arising from the organisation's purposes. The beneficiaries are the residents of Ratheen Greenvale and Sullenboy estates. A private benefit to trustees may arise from a trustee developing their skills and experiences through organising and attending the community events or training classes which may then be useful to them in other settings. This benefit is incidental and necessary in the delivery of the benefits.
What your organisation does
Our organisation carries out its purposes by supplying information to our tenants via leaflets, a mobile phone for residents to contact us confidentially and a Facebook page set up exclusively for Ratheen, Greenvale and Sullenboy estates. We also attend HCN Meetings, Interagency Meetings, Estate Inspections and liaise with all relevant statutory
and voluntary bodies to improve the conditions of life for all of our residents. We will secure funding to organise and run a range of activities and services to provide opportunities for residents to come together thus promoting a good community spirit within the estates. We also encourage community clean ups to maintain the overall appearance of the estates.

OBJECTS 2.1 The objectives of the Ratheen Greenvale and Sullenboy Resident’s Association(shortened to RGS Resident’s Association) is to enrich and improve the physical and mental wellbeing of all the residents within the Ratheen Greenvale and Sullenboy estates. With respect to all age groups, disability, gender, race or political and religious opinion. The common purpose is to enhance community development, recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for all the residents of Ratheen Greenvale and Sullenboy estates.
