The benefits gained from improved motorcycle riding standards include better rider safety, improved road safety and reductions in road deaths and injuries. The benefits gained from the more general advancement of road safety are reductions in road deaths and injuries. The effect of advanced motorcycle riding skills in reducing road accidents has
been researched and demonstrated by the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
