[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] European women and their families will overcome transition to Northern Ireland and will be provided support to overcome poverty or fails to integrate into local society. Conflicts based on race, culture, religious and language differences will be reduced or eliminated by
intermediating between European residents and Northern Ireland communities and by creating mixed ethnicity and cultural events for local communities. Preserving original European native culture and traditions through workshops, festivals, weekend classes Improve integration of newcomers into local society by teaching the European women the language, the customs, the habits, written and unwritten rules live in Northern Ireland. Diminish the effects of human trafficking, modern slavery, domestic abuse and business abuse by educating the European women and their families in their own native language Diminish the effects of poverty by providing material support (temporary housing, meals, clothes and domestic items) and by intermediating between the persons in needs and the relevant organizations and authorities that can improve their status Improve education of young European people by assisting in learning English and by providing material help as needed in order to have a continuous school presence. All such activities shall be performed in presence of their legal guardians. No, we do not see any potential harm due to any of the charity purposes. Where mitigation between various conflicted parts is performed, we envisage full collaboration of concerned authorities (PSNI, Child Protection Agency, Housing Associations, Ombudsman office) that shall present sufficient protection to involved persons. A Risk Assessment shall be issued by the charity representative prior to initiate any such activity. No there shall be no direct private benefit from any of the purposes. However, we do envisage developing information and meeting centers where renovation works may be performed. Such works are compulsory for effectiveness of charity activities and shall be performed only at locations where long term lease is arranged. Therefore the private benefit is incidental and necessary.
What your organisation does
We use following methods in achieving our charitable goals: - Providing information and support for all issues related to life in Northern Ireland and integration in British society. - Organising workshops where newcomers to be taught the basics regarding accommodation, shopping, schooling, health etc. and how to access all governmental and
private services available in NI - Organising meetings, exhibitions, festivals, parties where European women to be able to show the specific of each area, traditions, foods, costumes etc and to make aware the local population of the extraordinary diversity developed in the rest of EU. - Organising support groups for improving social skills and education of specific national groups. It will be mainly related to mom and children playgroups, Sunday schools, arts & craft activities, communities . - Organising qualification/re-qualifications/accreditation of new or existing skills to help EU women finding a job easily in NI - Building strong relationship with similar local organisation (Women association NI and related) for ensuring a tangible effect of all our actions - Charitable actions to help women in distress and exceptional situation of crisis including relief of poverty. - Help and support for integration of specific ethnical groups subject to discrimination, race hate, languages barriers etc. - Improve intercommunity's relationships by creating mixed ethnic groups activities (cultural, sport, educational) - Organising specific national weekend classes where European children to learn and preserve national traditions and language - Organising workshops for awareness of human trafficking, modern slavery, domestic or business abuse etc. in native language of European residents
