Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from our organisation is to help and provide for children aged 4 - 11 years old. We aim to provide and support the children who attend St. John the Baptist primary School. The benefits identified above will be demonstrated through our organisation organising events to support and provide for children. Such events

include: providing resources and opportunities for children. eg) to attend a pantomime, aid in providing and enhancing facilities, play facilities, tea party's, resources to enhance teaching and learning, raise standards in education to improve opportunities for children. There is no harm. Children aged 4 - 11 years old are the main beneficiaries and members of the public. These groups of people will benefit from our charity's work. There is no private benefit.

The organisation carries out its purpose by meeting no less than three times per year. Meetings focus upon preparing and oirganising events for children, mainly aged 4 - 11 years.

Charitable purposes

'Friends' exists to encourage and advance the education, enrichment and well-being of the children of the School. The Association may:- i. Develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the School. ii. Engage in activities, which support the School, advance the education and enhance the school experience for the pupils that make up the School. iii. Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education/school experience at the School which may not normally be provided by the Department of Education
