Public benefits

[What are the direct benefits flowing from your organisation's purposes?] To help reduce social isolation for the tenants and support mental health and well-being. [How can the benefits identified above be demonstrated?] Since we have set up the tenants association more tenants have got involved in all the clubs and other events at the scheme.

This has helped with feeling part of their local community as they have got to know their neighbours as well as the children from the local community. [Is there any harm arising from any of the purposes?] No. The tenants follow the signed terms of reference where they work together to promote a culture of mutual respect trust and partnership. [Who are the charity's beneficiaries?] All tenants. [Is there any private benefit flowing from any of the purposes? Is it incidental and necessary?] No.

What your organisation does

we have monthly meetings to arrange activities for tenants through lunch clubs which we have weekly as well as coffee mornings to support our fund raising efforts. we partner with the local schools and bridge the intergenerational gap and share crafting days and pre covid would of had the children down to the scheme. currently being done over

Zoom till we can meet up again. we recently received a community chest grant which enabled us to buy a new green house and we hope to build on our surrounding gardens and grow our own produce. we continue to have ongoing fundraising to buy gardening equipment and plants for spring time. we also use funding from raffles as well as the clubs to raise much needed funds for the scheme.
