services which will benefit the local community of the Outer North Neighbourhood Renewal & Ballyarnett DEA, particularly relating to anti social behaviour, crime and the fear of crime. Object 3. ‘pride in our community…’ The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is a reduction in the impact of poverty on people’s quality of life, the prevention of poverty and physical, social, community and economic improvements within the Outer North Neighbourhood Renewal & Ballyarnett DEA. Object 4. ‘quality training, education and recreation facilities to encourage greater involvement in community life…’ The direct benefit which flows from this purpose is a more educated, skilled and qualified, more informed and capable community within the Outer North Neighbourhood Renewal & Ballyarnett DEA. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from residents/beneficiaries, respective funding bodies, official government statistics and regular evaluation of our services. There is no harm flowing from any of the purposes. The main beneficiaries of these objectives are residents of all ages living within the Outer North Neighbourhood Renewal & Ballyarnett DEA. with some programme beneficiaries across the Derry City & Strabane District Council area. A private benefit to SRC staff (salary) and a range of service providers may arise from the health education and awareness programmes however these are necessary to deliver the programmes and ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
