Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from purposes 2.1 and purpose 2.2 are improved mental health outcomes and reduced levels of stress and anxiety by educating and developing maturity and confidence in our beneficiaries via our youth advice sessions. The direct benefits which flow from purposes 2.3 and 2.4 are to further the education in the young
population in Northern Ireland and youth organisations about the needs and experiences of young developing adults. These benefits are demonstrated through post-interviews with youth organisation leaders along with feedback and surveys from our beneficiaries. There is no harm arising from our purposes. I GET IT NOW beneficiaries are made up of two groups: 1) Young people living in Northern Ireland aged between 14 and 25. 2) Parents of young children also living in Northern Ireland. A private benefit flowing for our purposes may arise from training our trustees to help improve our knowledge and skillset in good governance, child safeguarding, etc. These benefits are incidental and necessary for our charity's progress.
What your organisation does
With the support of our trustees, we fundraise and apply for grants to go out into the community to speak with the beneficiary groups in repeated youth-coaching sessions, workshops and events, conveyed through our presentations and roleplay exercises. We also publish information on our website and social media. We survey and carry out research to
keep updated while promoting our objects with the relevant groups.
