Public benefits

The primary benefit is for the prevention and relief of poverty as well as social exclusion through financial assistance by means of grants of moneys and/or services deemed necessary for eligible applicants. See attached document on Page 9 titled "Public Benefit Statement for Application to C.C.N.I" They are identified by follow up reviews and

updates provided by applying Masonic Units / Family members, as well a monitoring ongoing circumstances for consideration of any further assistance if required. The Committee would also ensure that all cheques issued have been deposited and follow up if a cheque is not encashed. There is no harm arising from the Purposes of the Masonic Orphans' Welfare Committee. The necessitous children (natural or adopted), orphans’ (natural or adopted), or grandchildren (natural or adopted) of Freemasons; the beneficiaries being eligible up to the age of 25 years of age. There is no private benefit to the Trustees or Members of the Committee flowing from any of the Purposes of the Masonic Orphans' Welfare Committee.
