The direct benefits which flows from this purpose include reduced levels of stress and anxiety, reassurance, advice and help for new parents of babies with Down Syndrome in Northern Ireland. These benefits are evidenced through feedback received from receipents of the gift baskets and also from midwives and other healthcare professionals from

several Healthcare Trusts that have reported very positive feedback. There is no harm or possibility of harm from the purpose. The charity's beneficiaries are babies born with Down Syndrome and their families in Northern Ireland. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose.

What your organisation does

Through fundraising activities and donations received Special Delivery NI aims to provide a gift basket to all new mothers of babies with Down Syndrome throughout Northern Ireland, by delivering gift baskets all 11 maternity units throughout the five Health Care Trusts in Northern Ireland.
