The direct benefits from purpose 1, include contributing to the health and well being, promoting inclusion and acceptance, developing skills, encouraging, interaction with others and creating a sense of ownership and community. the direct benefits from purpose 2, include providing practical assistance to enable beneficiaries to avail of resources

and tuition who would not otherwise have access to such resources. The direct benefits from purpose 3, include achieving Ofqual qualifications in Swim Teaching and possibly other Aquatic industry positions and gain work placements and future employment The direct benefits from purpose 4, include permanent adaptions to the Coleraine Grammar School Facility which will enhance/upgrade the premises and therefor increase their possibilities for use when completed for Disabled users. The direct benefits from Purpose 5 include, equal access to Signature Swimming's premises and equipment already established, The experience of their staff at hand at all times. Training facilities and instructors to obtain Purpose three. The benefits from purpose 1 will be identified by regular feedback from participants/carers and regular independent evaluation. The benefits from purpose 2 will be identified by regular feedback from the participants/carers and regular independent evaluation. The benefits from purpose 3 will be identified by constant communication with the local community groups and employers. Number of participants enrolled in courses and said course requirements achieved successfully. The direct benefits from purpose 4 will be identified by permanent works carried out and photographic/schedule of works/costings evidence available. The direct benefits from purpose 5 will be identified by constant feedback from participants and course documentation of all participants and courses achieved successfully. The purposes of the charity is prevention of drowning, we can show the benefits of learning water safety from the qualified instructors, learning to swim therefore mitigating risks. The charities beneficiaries are Children, young people and adults with a learning/physical disabilities in the area of Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council Area, Mid Ulster District council and Mid Antrim Districts council. There is private benefit flowing from the Purpose 4 in the adaption of the pool at Coleraine Grammar School will enhance the school facilities but the Facilities are necessary to fulfil the charity there for the benefit is incidental and necessary. There is private benefit flowing from purpose 5 as payment for training staff for Friends of Signature Swimming will be obtained by Signature Swimming and STA NI, but courses for beneficiaries to gain employment in the Aquatic Industry and must be obtained to reach industry standards so therefore it is incidental and necessary. Also the lease of the facilities via sharing with Signature swimming is a private benefit but as Charity lessons may run alongside Signature swimming lessons to maintain lower costs for pool rental these benefits are incidental but necessary.

What your organisation does

1. Advance training, education and personal development for learning and/or physical disabled children, young people and adults by ways of programmes and activities both recreational, social and educational. 2. Promote and develop the individual's social skills, whilst learning about Water Safety and swimming techniques. 3. Offer learning in the

area of job possibilities in the Aquatic industry and work with local community groups and employers to offer work placements. 4. Raise monies to help adapt Coleraine Grammar School for Disabled access and users. 5. Work in Partnership with Signature Swimming and have them as an associate in provision of any/all services and use the experience of their staff and management to implement project , programmes and activities for the development of the beneficiaries. share the Signature Swimming premises and contribute to the cost of the same. Liaise with Swimming Governing Bodies (STA, Swim Ulster etc) and Signature Swimming to organise courses and classes for introduction to the Aquatic Industry, 6. Obtain collect and receive money by way of grants, donations, bequests, legacies, collections, local fundraising or other lawful method PROVIDED that the association shall not undertake any substantial permanent trading activities and shall conform to any relevant requirements of the law. 7. Recruit, train volunteers with relevant skills to carry out the objects of the association. 8. Employ and pay any person NOT being a member of Committee to supervise/organise and carry on the work of the Association and make all reasonable and necessary provision for payment of remuneration to employees.

Charitable purposes

1.This group is established to promote the benefit of children, young people and adults with a learning/or physical disabilities in the area of the Causeway and the NorthWest of Norther Ireland and the surrounding environs of Causeway Coast & Glens are, Mid Ulster District Council and Mid Antrim District Council('area of benefit') without distinction of gender , sexuality, nationality, ethnic origin, political or rreligious opinion, by the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare, recreation, education or other leisure time occupation of improving their conditions of life.
