Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from these purposes include the improvement of the conditions of life of the Ulster Scots community in the Mountfield area, both through practical experience and theoretically. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. There may be private benefits eg increased musical expertise. These benefits are incidental

and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries. The benefits identified can be demonstrated through the experiences, skills and knowledge gained by beneficiaries, which are transferable to other settings. These private benefits are incidental. These benefits will also enable the people of the Ulster-Scots community to grow in understanding and confidence in their own cultural heritage that they may be in a position to share on an equitable basis with other traditions. The benefits which flow from this purpose include a growth in understanding and comprehension of Ulster Scots culture in the greater Mountfield area and a readiness to share this with people from other traditions. The benefits will be evidenced by regular interaction with other groups and agencies and evaluated through frequent formal and informal feedback. There will be no harm flowing from this purpose. There will be no harm flowing from these purposes and these purposes will promote and preserve positively the culture and heritage of local people. The charities beneficiaries are people from the rural community of Mountfield and the wider Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area. There may be private benefits eg increased musical and cultural appreciation and enjoyment. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

What your organisation does

Our purposes will be evidenced by both musical and literary exposure and participation. We provide facilities for the enjoyment of and participation in drama, music, history, dance, writing, the visual arts and other activities of a cultural nature.
