Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing form our organisation's purposes are enhanced mental health and wellbeing for anyone struggling with their mental health, who avail of our service provided either via counselling support or others who are interested in mental health education. The benefits of enhanced mental health are demonstrated via feedback from our

beneficiaries. If they agree to completing evaluations, our clients give positive feedback through this. There is the potential for harm from retraumatisation, risk of suicide and/or self harming behaviours when working with clients, however our professional counsellors work to the limits of their training, assess for risk, work alongside other health professionals in a multi disciplinary way, refer when necessary to other organisations and attend supervision each month. The charity's beneficiaries are anyone in the local community who need support and help with their mental health or others seeking mental health education. There are is no private benefit from our purposes.
