Direct benefits flowing from purpose 1 are: Increase social interaction of all generations through educational and awareness programmes designed to inform and generate debate and solutions to the conservation of local historic graveyards, castles, monuments and the surrounding environment. It will strengthen the local economy and improve the
quality of life of local people through both exercise and well-being through voluntary work. Further benefits include a promotion of community pride, allowing people to work together to enhance economic and cultural development through distinct community opportunities. The direct benefits flowing from purpose 2 include: Increased social interaction and health benefits through new and improved recreation and sports facilities both outdoor and indoor. An increase in health and well-being awareness through educational classes. Increase in physical and mental health through attendance at a range of new sports clubs including cycling, running, walking and rowing. Recreation is relevant to people of all ages, abilities and levels of skill and will contribute to the empowerment of individuals and promote the development of inclusive communities. The direct Benefits flowing from purpose 3 include: the conservation/heritage projects envisaged will bring together young and old, professional and amateur, cross-community and government officials to achieve the groups objectives strengthening and developing the trust between each group even where none had previously existed. Purpose 4 direct benefits ensure there is adequate access to social services and further education for all within the local community that need or want it, including promoting the availability of a service, particularly in the area of suicide prevention and rural isolation. To ensure that the services offered whether its health and well-being, recreation or education, no one will be less able than anyone else regardless of disability, religion, race or gender. The benefits from purpose 1 are demonstrated through numbers attending events, volunteers for clean-up operations during conservation. Interest of local people in the environment, local history and the heritage, education of the community as a whole through engagement in social media. The benefits of purpose 2 are demonstrated through attendance at classes events and sports clubs, an increase in interest and taking part in physical activity. Increase in membership of local sports clubs. The benefits of purpose 3 are demonstrated through volunteers registering interest in attending events and projects across the identified demographics from all communities that have a shared history. The numbers of groups who affiliate with Belleek Development and Heritage Group. The take up of opportunities available through social media, collaboration with local authorities and the private sector, working with the voluntary sector to reduce the incidences of self-harm through rural isolation. We do not anticipate any harm from purpose 1. However, during conservation clean-up a number of garden tools will be used, adequate supervision and full safety equipment will be available and the requisite insurance policies in place.
