The direct benefits flowing from the purposes are - to fund the purchase of specialist equipment, to fund the training of expert, specialised nursing staff, to liaise with consultants and nursing staff regarding their requirements for the department. The benefits are clearly evidenced in feedback from Staff and patients, the success achieved by the

use of specialist equipment enabling prompt diagnosis and alleviating anxiety and stress. There is no harm arising from the purposes. The Crohns and Colitis patients attending the RVH for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

Funds are generated by donations, street collections, a variety of events organised by the public and those led by the charity. Information Evenings - providing the public with information about fundraising and what those funds will purchase. Retired Gastroenterologist and Patron of charity will highlight medical aspects of the illness.

Roberta's Wish is focused on providing funds to serve Crohns and Colitis patients in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Gastroenterology Department. We are dedicated to the advancement of health, helping to provide specialist training and equipment for medical practitioners in their work with Crohns and Colitis sufferers in Northern Ireland.
