Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the organisation's purposes include the alleviation of some of the financial difficulties which those under the pastoral care of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland have faced and the provision of equipment and resources which they would not have been able to obtain without assistance from the Fund. The benefits

are demonstrated through feedback from beneficiaries and their families and regular evaluation of the services provided. This purpose does not lead to harm. The charity's beneficiaries are those under the pastoral care of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland but in turn there is a wider benefit to the public of Northern Ireland generally. There is no private benefit flowing from the purposes.
