The youth centre is established to provide, maintain and promote facilities and activities of a spiritual, social, educational and recreational nature, with the object of enhancing, enriching and contributing to the life of children and young people without distinction of ethnicity, political opinion, gender, sexual orientation, religion or other
opinion. The direct benefits which flow from this purpose include enhanced life and social skills, opportunities to develop personally and gain accredited qualifications, improved physical and emotional well-being, improved positive educational outcomes and increased spiritual development in the lives of local young people. This purpose will also provide improvements to overall community life. Evidence of the benefits will be demonstrated through a number of evaluation processes including: qualitative and quantitative data from programme and project evaluations; and data from nightly attendance sheets, Statistical Analysis Sheets and Daily Report Forms No, there is no identifiable harm to any person through the pursuit of the above organisational purpose. The beneficiaries are Children and Young People 8-25yrs There is no private benefit flowing from the organisation’s purposes
What your organisation does
In furtherance of its charitable objects, but not further or otherwise, the Youth Centre may:- • Provide, maintain and equip premises and facilities for social, spiritual, educational and recreational activities therein; • Organise or assist in organising events and activities consistent with the objects of the Youth Centre; • Co-operate, to such
an extent as may be necessary, with voluntary and statutory agencies and the inhabitants of the area of benefit so as to advance the said objects; • Raise funds and invite or receive contributions from any person or persons whatsoever by way of subscription, donation or otherwise provided that this shall not permit or entitle the Youth Centre to engage in permanent trading; • Purchase, take, lease or exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any property and any rights and privileges necessary for the attainment of the said objects and construct maintain and alter any buildings or edifices so necessary as aforesaid; • Affiliate to the Down and Connor Youth Commission and to other organisations including the Youthwork Alliance with similar charitable objects; • Do all such other lawful things as may be necessary to the attainment of the above objects;
