Public benefits

Largymore Temperance Junior is established to do community development by developing the knowledge and skills for the residents within the Lisburn area. Our aim is to improve the welfare and quality of life for groups and families within the Lisburn area (LCCC) to increase inclusion and diversity, build confidence and self esteem. This helps us to

train up new volunteers within the Lisburn area to learn new skills and improve their self esteem & confidence to improve the community. More residents continue to volunteer with us developing a greater sense of community within the area. There is no harm arising from any purposes The beneficiaries are young people from within Lisburn area Our volunteers have undertaken a range of capacity building training courses over the years - first aid, child protection, conflict resolution, fire safety, youth work etc. Volunteers require such training to enable them to run our group's activities. The private benefit of this, is that volunteers can use what they have learnt for their own personal development. This is an incidental and necessary benefit.
