Public benefits

The benefits that flow from this purpose include: improved opportunities for social engagement for all in the village and surrounding area and reduced social isolation. This is evidenced by feedback from participants and attendees at events, by comments on social media, responses on Surveymonkey and by the monitoring of attendance at events. There

is also independent evaluation of our activities by our funders. No harm The charity’s beneficiaries are all the residents of Ravarnet and its environs. A private benefit flowing from this purpose is the income achieved by a local business whose premises are rented to hold our community meetings and as a venue for training and social events for our community. Another private benefit would be the income to the training company who deliver courses such as Health and Safety and First Aid for our community. Both these private benefits are incidental and are necessary to the fulfilment of the purpose of RCN.
