The direct benefits which flows from our purpose is that we build links within the local community and secure funding for additional resources for the school. This in turn has direct benefit to our schools pupils as we attempt to enhance their educational experiences, progress and over all attainment throughout their time spent in Derrygonnelly

What your organisation does

As an active PTA we continue to work in partnership with the school and engage parental support. We continue to make grant applications and host fundraising events/activities to raise money so in an attempt to enable our pupils to gain increased access to resources, events, activities and links which are not available through direct school funding

which in turn supports our school to advance the education of its pupils.

The purpose of the Association (the Purposes) is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by: Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school; Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
