Public benefits

The direct benefits which flow from the Festival's purposes are increased opportunities for people living, working and socialising in Belfast to meet those from different backgrounds, become more familiar with and comfortable in shared spaces within the city and engage in cross-community consideration of issues affecting communities, leading to

potential for improved community relations, psychological wellbeing and a more shared and peaceful society. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from festival attendees. 4 Corners Festival does not anticipate any harm to occur as a result of these purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are primarily the general public living in Belfast as activities are designed for this group and held within Belfast. The wider public in Northern Ireland and further afield also benefit through participation in these activities by increasing their familiarity with Belfast and considering community issues. No

What your organisation does

The 4 Corners Festival delivers an annual programme of innovative events designed to entice people out of their own ‘corners’ of Belfast and into new places where they will encounter new perspectives, new ideas, and new friends. Events are held across Belfast and programmed to attract people from a range of backgrounds, inspiring them to transform

the city for the peace and well-being of all.
