Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from this organisation fulfilling its purposes include the care that is taken of people's spiritual needs by this welcoming family church, which enables people to flourish by being part of a church family, helping them to grow in health, well-being and confidence, so they can make a positive contribution to society.
Improving community relations and intercultural cohesion by increasing understanding of cross-cultural and multi-religious views, creating a common ground and sense of belonging. The care taken to look after the welfare of all those living in the Larne and the surrounding area, especially those who may be facing some disadvantage or difficulty in their lives, including those with mental health, parenting, family, loneliness, and financial issues, as well as generally improving the lives of people living in the area - both families and individuals, irrespective of their background. The benefits can be demonstrated by the growing numbers of those attending gatherings and events organised by the church, and by the increasing number of people across the city who are being supported and helped through the church's activities, and by practical acts, such as the giveaways provided to deprived families, school age children and new mothers. Also, the teaching of life-skill and financial management to alleviate financial hardship. The trustees do not consider that there is any harm arising from the church carrying out its purposes. The charity's beneficiaries are potentially all those who live in the area and beyond. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.
