The direct benefit flowing from purpose 1 is enhanced knowledge and understanding in young people of awareness and understanding of Organ Donation and Altitude Mountain Sickness. The direct benefit Flowing from purpose 2 is improved health outcomes and reduced levels of stress and anxiety. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from

participants and evaluations of our programme. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are; Young people aged between 16-21, Recipients of Organs, Local community. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

The Foundation engages young adults from the ages of 16-21 through module based education and and raising awareness of Organ Donation and Altitude Mountain Sickness and embracing other cultures and religions. This is achieved through a programme with a duration between 6-12 months during which the young people/young adults participate in community

events, recreational activities and sports. They also take part in seminars surrounding embracing other cultures, organ donation and altitude awareness.

Charitable purposes

a) To educate and inspire young people and raise awareness of Organ donation and Altitude Mountain Sickness through the participation of sport and healthy recreation, particularly local residents of Derry City and Strabane District Council Area, without reference to sex, race or social background. b) To advance the leadership abilities and physical education of young people through sports and recreational activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities to enable them to grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society.
