The direct benefit flowing from purpose 1 is enhanced knowledge and understanding in young people of awareness and understanding of Organ Donation and Altitude Mountain Sickness. The direct benefit Flowing from purpose 2 is improved health outcomes and reduced levels of stress and anxiety. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from
participants and evaluations of our programme. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries are; Young people aged between 16-21, Recipients of Organs, Local community. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.
What your organisation does
The Foundation engages young adults from the ages of 16-21 through module based education and and raising awareness of Organ Donation and Altitude Mountain Sickness and embracing other cultures and religions. This is achieved through a programme with a duration between 6-12 months during which the young people/young adults participate in community
events, recreational activities and sports. They also take part in seminars surrounding embracing other cultures, organ donation and altitude awareness.
