Public benefits

The benefits which flow from this educational purpose include improved understanding of the importance of History teachers in our local schools which will benefit their professional development. These benefits can be identified by the growth of membership of HTANI and through feedback from local History teachers and their students also. There is no

risk of harm as all our events are conducted in a professional manner and we actively promote respect on a cross community basis. The main benefits are better opportunities and greater access to new resources for local History teachers and their students. Any private benefit flowing from our activities will be of an indirect manner which will be incidental and necessary to the fulfilment to the purposes of our organisation.

What your organisation does

Our organisation will organise events across Northern Ireland to present new educational resources for history teachers in our local schools. We also organise events on important topics for students such as Civil Rights on a cross community basis to ensure mutual understanding and respect of all communities.
