The direct benefits of purpose 1.1 are…relationships are well established between the school staff and parents to help meet the overall learning needs of the pupils. 1.2 To study and discuss matters of mutual interest relating to education,

enrichment, environment and welfare of pupils. The direct benefits of purpose 1.2 are to ensure that the key adult stakeholders in school (staff and parents) have a clear working knowledge and understanding of how best to meet the needs of the pupils in school and are committed to enhancing the school/ pupil environment with appropriate learning tools. 1.3 Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils. The direct benefits pf purpose 1.3 are to engage the staff and parents in joint fundraising activities to help provide the necessary resources to meet purpose 1.1 and 1.2 The benefits of purpose 1.1-1.3 are demonstrated by the range of planned and delivered fundraising opportunities that take place during the school year. These opportunities raise vital school funds that are then used to enhance the school environment by purchasing a wide variety of equipment for use within and outside the classroom. What your organisation does

The Friends of Ebrington (comprising staff and parents of Ebrington PS) meet regularly to discuss matters relating to the effective provision of resources and curriculum within the school. This includes developing and planning the delivery of fundraising opportunities to help school purchase appropriate resources and equipment over and above that

which can be sought through a decreasing school budget.
