Public benefits

The direct benefits are money raised is used to purchase much needed resources for the children in the school to develop their education. These benefits will be demonstrated by New ICT equipment will enhance the knowledge, understanding and skills required of children in today's society. Text books purchased enable teachers to deliver the NI

curriculum with up-to-date resources. Educational trips which have been partially funded help to engage the children in a fun-filled interactive learning environment and engages them more in their learning. There is no harm arising from the purpose. The beneficiaries are all children in the school from P1-P7. There is no private benefit.

What your organisation does

Friends of St. Mary's Primary, Dunamore is run by a group of volunteer parents and staff to organise social events that develops and strengthens home-school relationships as well as occasionally raising funds to purchase educational resources for the children at St. Mary's Primary School, Dunamore. The PTA also supports the school by providing

hospitality at school events and volunteering for roles in school such as gardening and after school clubs.
