The direct benefits flowing from purpose 1 include the reduction in poverty for people in the local Community and assisting people in dealing with the direct effects of poverty and the causes of poverty. The direct benefits flowing from purpose 2 include the public being able to access educational services and assisting people in their

understanding of community and life issues through educational classes. The direct benefits flowing from purpose 3 include the public be able to access religious services and having increased opportunity to engage with the Christian living and the application of its principals to life. The benefits from purpose 1 are demonstrated through people receiving practical help to alleviate poverty, the number of people receiving direct support e.g. food hampers, assistance with transport etc. and the number of people assisted in adopting better life skills as a result of teaching at Mid Antrim Vineyard. The benefits from purpose 2 are demonstrated through people gaining a greater knowledge of how to advance in life, having an improved life and employment opportunities through benefits received. The benefits from purpose 3 are demonstrated through people being able to advance their religion, knowledge and understanding, the number of people in attendance at church services and through their contribution to positive community development. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The beneficiaries of the organisation are those who choose to attend our services and the general public in the mid-Antrim area. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes of the organisation.

What your organisation does

The Company carries out its purpose in the following ways; a) The prevention or relief of poverty; • Provision of financial support to local charities e.g. to Women’s Aid, Foodbank etc • Provision of guidance and advise to people that will enable them to move away from activities that otherwise would lead them into debt • Provision of practical

help to people in need e.g. food parcels, financial help • Provision of skills based training and mentorship that will make people more employable and hence reduce their risk of falling into further periods of poverty b) The advancement of education; • Encouraging and supporting people to further their education so they can achieve their full potential • Supporting young people who struggle with education • Teaching people how to lead themselves and others • Teaching people creative arts and music c) The advancement of religion; • Teaching on Christian matters in church services, • Teaching on Christian matters through social media, YouTube and other online formats • Organising conferences on Christian matters, online and in person • Providing printed and e-resources to assist people advance their faith
