Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from this purpose are to reduce rural isolation and empowerment of young people These benefits will be evidenced through feedback from participants through surveys, consultations and written reports. Additional data will also be collected from parents, guardians and other community members to measure the impact of
our work The purposes of our charity may lead to the following harm such as harm to volunteer's working with at-risk young people and young people injuring themselves during activites. However, we maintain strict health and safety policies and create risk assessments to identify and manage any risk before it occurs. We believe that this allows us to minimise the harm and maximise the benefits The charity’s beneficiaries are young people aged 6 to 21 years old living in the council areas of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council and Mid Ulster council. In addition to this parents, guardians and other community members will also benefit. Yes. As part of Clonmore Youth Club mission to provide opportunities to youth living in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council area, we have hired one part-time staff member to organise and oversee the various activites and volunteer hours required to meet our purposes. Having a paid staff member allows us to reach more children and youth people as many of the management committee and voluntary team, work full time and would not be able to meet the demands to run a successful organisation without the additional help.
What your organisation does
Clonmore Youth Club strives to create a youth centre which offers an inclusive and shared space where children, young people and the community can grow, develop and actively participate in community life. Through our work Clonmore Youth Club hopes to inspire and empower children, young people and the community by creating opportunities through
which they can develop confidence, self-esteem and social skills, meet others from different backgrounds and use their talents to benefit others.
