What your organisation does

Our PTA is made up of a group of elected parents and staff. All parents and staff are invited to share their skills and help at our events. We run a programme of events throughout the school year, which are available to pupils, their family and friends and the wider community. We vary our fundraisers from year to year and in the past we have held

events such as a DVD night, a quiz, Christmas Lights events, raffles, Christmas Card Making. All our events raise funds but are also open to all visitors, regardless of gifts given. We design competitions for the children throughout the year and we provide refreshments at various events throughout the year. In close consultation with the Principal and teachers, we agree to fund a range of items and services that directly benefit the school and the children. In recent years we have bought outdoor play equipment, new chairs and Maths books. Overall, we are a fundraising organisation, but an important part of our role is promoting social inclusion, community relations and providing a less formal communication channel between the parent body and the school.
