Public benefits

The direct benefits flowing from the organisation's purposes are: Improved community cohesion, building inter-generation relations, improving social isolation. Increased participation in both our social events and community clean ups. An overall improved appearance of our local area, recognition from statutory bodies that the level of

engagement is improving year on year. There is no harm flowing from the organisation's purposes. The beneficiaries are all stakeholders within Killowen Drive's local area (social housing tenants, private tenants, landlords and owner occupiers), also statutory bodies who desire engagement and active participation from Killowen drive stakeholders. A private benefit to trustees may arise from a trustee developing their skills and experiences through organising and attending the community events, training classes, etc which may then be useful to them in other settings. This benefit is incidental and necessary in the delivery of the benefits.

What your organisation does

The association runs inclusive community events, staffed by volunteers to improve community relations. In addition we actively encourage community clean ups and engagement with statutory bodies to improve the local area.
