The benefits are people being entertained and enjoying brass band music. People of all ages and backgrounds being able to learn how to play a musical instrument. These are demonstrated through the number of people attending the band's engagements and listening to its music and new people joining the band. There is no harm. The general public are

the beneficiaries. Specifically anyone who listens to the band's music. Individual members will receive musical instruction and tuition meaning they become more proficient on their particular instrument and improve their musical education.

Charitable purposes

The Band shall exist for the purpose of the promotion of, education in, appreciation of and performance of Brass Band music amongst persons of all ages. In furtherance of the primary charitable object the Band shall exist to: a) Promote interest in Brass Band music in NI. b) Encourage players to develop their skills and interest in Brass Band music through rehearsals, tuition and public performances such as community/civic concerts/events, church events, and parades. c) Nurture and develop the skills of young musicians and new players of all ages. d) Do all such lawful activities as may be necessary for the attainment of the above objects.
