Public benefits
1 To improve the village environment, services, and facilities. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 1 is increased access to leisure and recreational facilities which will help regenerate the village and improve physical and mental wellbeing of local residents. 2. To reduce isolation and increase social networks for local residents and the
surrounding local areas. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 2 includes providing increased opportunities to participate in social activities reducing isolation and which will give people opportunities to come together, and build lasting networks/friendships. This in turn will promote mental wellbeing. 3. To provide opportunity for skills development, capacity building and learning for local residents and the surrounding area. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 3 includes increased opportunities for local residents to engage in training, take on volunteer roles and increased opportunities to build personal capacity and learn new skills through community activities. 4. To advance the health and well-being of local residents and the surrounding local areas The direct benefit which flows from purpose 4 includes increased opportunities for local residents to engage in community health and wellbeing activities thus reducing isolation felt by rural dwellers increasing fitness levels of those taking part and increasing overall wellbeing by creating opportunities for skill development, confidence building and social interaction. 1 To improve the village environment, services, and facilities.Benefits are demonstrated through the increase in leisure and recreational facilities, the number of environmental projects, the numbers using such facilities and taking part in environmental projects and feedback received from local inhabitants. 2. To reduce isolation-Benefits are demonstrated through the number of community and range of community activities taking place, the numbers participating, and feedback received from local residents. To provide opportunity for skills development-Benefits are demonstrated through the number of training opportunities which are taking place, the number of community volunteers, and feedback received from local residents. 4. To advance the health and well-being -Benefits are demonstrated through the number of health related activities taking place, the numbers participating, evaluation of activities and feedback from the local community. The purposes (1-4) of the charity will not lead to any harm. The charities beneficiaries are people living in Clough and the surrounding rural areas. A private benefit to trustees may arise from purpose 1, improve the village environment, services, and facilities as trustees and their families may use facilities provided. A private benefit to trustees may arise from purpose 2, increased access to social opportunities. Trustees and their families may take part in community activities being run. A private benefit to trustees may arise from purpose 3, opportunities for skills development. Trustees and their families may take part in training being run or gain skills through activities which are transferable to other settings. A private benefit to trustees may arise from purpose 4, advance health and wellbeing. Trustees and their families may take part in community health activities/programmes being run. All the above benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.
