Public benefits

The direct benefits include: the improved mental and physical well-being of those living in our deprived border community, increased access to activities which can be of social or educational benefit, reduced levels of social isolation, stress and anxiety, better cross-community and cross border relations, improved partnership working between

communities, groups and support organisations for the purpose of connecting people and communities. These benefits are evidenced through the number of people using our facility and feedback from attendees at our events and activities. Feedback is mostly verbal and, where required, evaluation forms and surveys of activities may be used. Any risk or potential harm through the use of the facilities is minimised through reviewing potential risks and put in place risk management strategies were required. The charity’s beneficiaries are people of all ages, without discrimination, living in Middletown and the surrounding rural area on each side of the border. There is no private benefit flowing from the purpose of our organisation.
