The club is helping to generate a growing number of well trained paddle sports enthusiasts with equipment, who are willing to volunteer time to promote, develop and deliver paddle sports, while making use of and helping to develop and promote, local facilities & amenities that benefit paddle sports. The club have produced a number of well trained
coaches and leaders, as well as a number of members with a variety of safety qualifications since the club was founded in 2011. The club has also expanded its fleet of boats, which allows the club to access to more environments and opens up more entrances into paddle sports. The clubs annual events have introduced over 150 people annually to paddle sports while raising funds for the club. No The local community Training volunteers may incidentally enhance their employment prospects within the outdoor tourism sector.

The club raise funds from events that provide opportunities for people to participate in paddle sports. The club use the funding to acquire equipment and provide training while working under the guidance of the Governing body (Canoe Association Northern Ireland, CANI) to promote paddle sports.
