Public benefits

The people living in Lurganville and surrounding district will be the beneficiaries of any programmes or events organised by Lurganville and District Community Association which will improve their social well being, health, quality of the environment, improve 'good relations' and community cohesion. The Public Benefit will be demonstrated by

informal and formal feedback such as evaluations of different events. Written evaluation forms are completed after our outings, which are held approximately once every two months. Feedback was also gathered after our Vintage Vehicle and Family Fun Day in June 2018. It was noted numbers attending had greatly increased from those attending the previous one. It is hoped that this year we will see the numbers attending increase yet again. There is no harm envisaged in any programmes organised by the Community Association. The only private benefit would be indirect, such as stall holders at our Vintage Vehicle and Family Fun Day selling their crafts. Also because of their reliability and closeness one transport company is used for our outings. Another indirect private benefit would be members of the locale gaining qualifications through courses organised by the Community Association.
