Public benefits

Improved relationships between families/ home and playgroup. The benefit which flows from this from this purpose includes funding for additional resources for our playgroup and links built within the local community. The strong links we have formed within the community are with the two local primary schools and our local mother and toddler group.

This is demonstrated through an active management committee that works in partnership with the playgroup and engages parental support. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit is for all our children in our playgroup and their families. Charity trustees (committee members) are usually parents or grandparents of the children who attend the playgroup and hence gain benefit in the same way as all our beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries. Advancing the education of all the children who attend our education in all of the six areas of the curriculum. The benefit which flows from this purpose includes increased educational and social and emotional development for the children who attend our setting and also for the links we have built within our local community. This is demonstrated through the children having access to resources, events activities and links within the local community which we cannot access without fundraising. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit is for the children of Strangford and District Playgroup. Charity trustees (Committee Members) are usually parents/grandparents of children at our playgroup and hence they gain benefit as all other beneficiaries. This benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.
