Public benefits

The direct benefit which flows from purpose 1 is to provide counselling and guidance to those Beneficiaries who are facing and/or experiencing financial difficulties and reduce stress relating to the effects of these issues and improve their outlook on life. decrease the stress for the beneficiaries and their families. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 2 is to provide counselling and guidance in relation to matters which could result in financial hardship distress and/or homelessness to those Beneficiaries who are experiencing such issues and reduce stress relating to their issues and improve their outlook on life. There is also the direct benefit of a reduction in homelessness which will also in turn decrease the stress for the beneficiaries and their families. The direct benefit which flows from purpose 3 is to develop and increase the skills and understanding of the public particularly those at risk of facing financial difficulties including homelessness and therefore decreasing the stress that could occur if they had any financial hardship or distress in the future and hopefully preventing that stress from occurring in the future as they will not get into any financial hardship. These benefits for purpose 1 can be evidenced through a decrease in homelessness through better understanding of the sources of help and assistance available to beneficiaries. There will also be improved mental health and wellbeing to those who are now able to better understand how to resolve their issues. The benefits for purpose 3 can be evidenced through attendance at training events; through returned feedback pro formas; informal and adhoc feedback from attendees, their families and members of the public; greater uptake of other benefits of the charitable purposes and also through participation in the community outreach events. The purposes of the charity do not lead to any obvious or foreseeable harm. The beneficiaries are the general public.
