Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from our purpose includes the development, progression and enhancement of tourism and leisure facilities. To improve education, health and well-being and increase employment opportunities. The participants learn new skills and share their own knowledge and experiences with each other. These benefits are
demonstrated through feedback from participants and beneficiaries and by the level of uptake of services. The purposes of our charity will not lead to any harm. The charity’s beneficiaries are people living locally within Ballyhornan District of County Down. A private benefit to trustees may arise from our programme of ongoing training programmes. Through this training trustees may gain skills and experience which are transferable to other settings. These benefits are incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

The charity's objects ('Objects') are specifically restricted to the following: The purpose of this company is to: The objectives for which the company is established are, the regeneration of the Ballyhornan area of Co. Down, including Bishop's Court and the derelict areas from the old RAF base; to cooperate with all voluntary and statutory bodies for the improvement of the Ballyhornan area; to apply for funding and to manage projects consistent with the objects of the company; for the increase in employment; for the reduction in dereliction; for the improvement of social and community provisions; for the relief of poverty and to promote the benefit and advancement of, and the education of the inhabitants of Co Down in particular and of its environs in general without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinion and to do all such other things beneficial to the public anywhere in the world as maybe charitable under the laws of Northern Ireland.
