The direct benefit that flows from this purpose is improved health & well-being to residents affected by Autism. These benefits are evidenced through feedback from residents/beneficiaries & regular evaluation of our services. The beneficiaries of this purpose are residents of all ages living in the Derry City & Strabane District Council &

Northern Ireland Areas affected by Autism. There is no harm flowing from this purpose. A private benefit may arise to the committee members & volunteers who may from time to time avail of programmes in matters of governance etc., however is necessary to deliver our services & ensure the benefit is provided to our beneficiaries.

1) Youth Club (at least once a week) & a yearly summer scheme 2) Planned activities indoor & out door to encourage social skills & social interaction/independence 3) Volunteering opportunities for older children & parents 4) Run classes within the wider community to improve self-confidence & self-esteem (Art/music/drama) 5) Provide a support

network to anyone affected by autism in the DC&SDC & NI Area 6) Work with local groups & schools to promote autism awareness and health & well-being

The Jigsaw Project’s objects are to promote autism awareness and health & well-being in the Derry City & Strabane District Council & Northern Ireland Areas without distinction of sex, race or political, religious or other opinions by providing volunteering opportunities, encouraging social skills/social interaction & independence through planned activities, integrating autism within the wider community through the promotion of inclusion & providing a support network for everyone affected by autism.
