The benefit from our purpose includes mental and physical stimulation and improved awareness of help available. Improved health outcomes lead to an improved quality of life therefore reducing stress and anxiety. Social interaction and physical stimulation as a result of taking part in activities. Healthier, older people in the area. Benefits are

demonstrated by word of mouth in attracting new members. There is no harm arising from any of the above purposes. The beneficiaries of the organisation are the population of Cullybackey and surrounding areas aged 60 and over. No there is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

Cullybackey Senior Citizens Club aims to benefit the needs of the local, older population by provided social, recreational and educational advice and support. Regular activities include a range of mental and physical activities including talks and different topics, music and dance and also two outings and a Christmas dinner each year. Better

confidence and improved self esteem results in improved communication whereby everyone benefits.

Charitable purposes

The Association is established to: relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Cullybackey and district area of Co. Antrim and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
