The direct benefits flowing from encouraging communication between faith communities include the building of trust and breaking down barriers and prejudices. The direct benefits flowing from advancing human rights, conflict resolution, reconciliation and addressing inequality creates improved opportunities for community integration and

cohesion. The direct benefits flowing from the promotion of religious and racial harmony creates tolerance and mutual understanding. The benefits from encouraging communication between faith communities can produce programmes and projects that are inclusive and open to everyone. The direct benefits flowing from advancing human rights, conflict resolution, reconciliation and addressing inequality can provide a voice for those members of our community who are suffering from racial and religious prejudice. These issues can be addressed through educational information and opportunities for training. The benefits from the promotion of religious and racial harmony can be demonstrated in creating more projects that bring communities of faith together, such as paying together and the opportunity to attend each other's events. No there is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The members of all the religious bodies identifies and the wider community as all events are open and everyone is welcome to attend. No there is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.

What your organisation does

Causeway Coast & Glens Faith Forum (which represents Christian, Muslim, Bahai, Mormons and other smaller sects)has monthly meetings held in various religious premises where members can discuss their religious journeys, and where many items are discussed and activities planned. Activities planned can include, talks by community and religious

representatives, networking and building of trust.
