Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from ‘the advancement of citizenship or community development’ include reduction of social isolation and improved mental, social and physical well-being of older people. These benefits will be demonstrated through feedback and evaluations from beneficiaries. There is no harm arising from any of the purposes. The
charity’s beneficiaries are older people living within the Ballymacoss, Ballymacash and Causeway Road end and surrounding area. The only private benefit flowing from this purpose is that committee members gain knowledge from attending training. This is incidental and necessary because it helps the organisation run more efficiently.
