Public benefits

Whilst a public benefit statement has been provided the Commission has relied on other evidence to satisfy itself that the public benefit requirement has been met. Physical and mental health. Financial. It would mostly be a matter of how each individual pensioner reacts to what we do. Over the years we have received letters of thanks and gifts

from some of our beneficiaries and their relatives which we are very thankful for. No. Pensioners/Elderly people. No.

What your organisation does

We organise activities that will be of a great appeal to pensioners, such as visits to gardens and historical sites. During these outings they can take walks which will be beneficial to their physical health and maybe learn something which will keep their minds stimulated. Sometimes a walk is the only exercise manageable for pensioners so we keep

this in mind. We are a cross community organisation and I like to think that by bringing together both communities, in the way that we do, can also be beneficial to the mental health of a lot of our beneficiaries. A lot of the pensioners that come on our trips could not afford to visit some of the places we go so they are getting out and about instead of the alternative which would be to sit in their homes alone. The company of others can be a great boost mentally for people who don't normally have company.
