The Diocese carries out several religious outreach activities per year and provides Parishes with: • Advice on and processing the requirements of the Church of Ireland Constitution and Diocesan Regulations. • Advice on financial and legal compliance. • Financial support to Diocesan ministry training of deacons, priests and lay
readers. • Communications support. • Assistance to Parishes with the development of youth and children’s ministry. • Clergy pastoral support. The Diocese engages with society as a whole and offers support for those needing help is fundamental to the practical delivery of the benefits of Christianity. Because of this activity in the pursuit of the advancement of the Christian religion, the Diocese has custody of property, records and resources, the maintenance of which is undertaken by the Diocese. The number of Childrens and Youth events held throughout the year. The number of confirmations held throughout the year. The number of particular pieces of advice issued to Parishes. The number of particular requirements of the Church of Ireland Constitution and Diocesan Regulations processed each year. The amount of advice on financial and legal compliance issued to Parishes. The number of ordinations of deacons and priests carried out. The maintenance of the Diocesan website on behalf of he Parishes. The purposes of our charity will lead to no harm. The Clergy and congregations within the Diocese of Down and Dromore and society as a whole. There maybe some incidental benefit to trustees through the experience of being on the Diocesan Council.
