Public benefits
The direct benefits that flow from the purposes are both mental and physical, including an increased sense of well being, reduced negative emotions, increased ability in self expression and positive identity and improved physical fitness. The benefits can be identified through feedback from participants on education programmes and through
increasing audience numbers and feedback for performances. We have a consistent track record of critically acclaimed work since 2009. There is no harm arising from public performances and the benefits include giving opportunities to the public of Northern Ireland to experience performances they would not normally get to see. In physical education there is a limited risk of injury but the benefits far outweigh the potential of any harm. The charity's beneficiaries are the general public of Northern Ireland. The only private benefit from the purposes is the employment of artists and facilitators but this is incidental and necessary to carry out the work of the charity.
