Public benefits

The benefits that flow from our organisation's purpose include the advancement of education, improved health outcomes and reduced levels of stress and anxiety. These benefits are evidenced through the increasing numbers of people using our service and the feedback from participants. There is no harm arising from the purpose. The beneficiaries are

the mothers and children who avail of our services and the wider community who we open the evening health and well being sessions to. There is no private benefit arising from the purpose.

What your organisation does

Our Group brings together young mothers and more experienced volunteers who provide a safe and welcoming environment for young women to socialise, support one another and draw on the wealth of parenting knowledge of our volunteers. We also run sessions for all ages to promote heath an well being. We have had courses on cookery and nutrition and

Yoga classes.

Charitable purposes

The Group is established to promote, for the benefit of the women and children of Lower Andersonstown an its environs (herein after described as "the area of benefit") in association with statutory authorities, voluntary organisations an inhabitants the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and the advancement of education.
