Demonstrated through: (1) Increased number of people attending events, classes, lectures, seminars, training courses, public exhibitions, etc. (2) More opportunities for budding local artists and craft workers to produce and exhibit their work. (3) Enhanced employment opportunities in the local arts and craft industry. (4) Improved access to training and employment for minority language speakers and the unemployed. (5) Increased participation in healthy eating, food preparation and dietary workshops. (6) Provision of affordable space and opportunities for meetings, classes and social events. No harm is identified. Beneficiaries are: The general public; unemployed and underemployed people in the area of benefit; Irish language learners, Irish speakers and the families of children and young people in Irish medium education. To supplement our voluntary expertise, the organisation will engage professional artists, craft workers, tutors and caterers on a sessional and seasonal basis as self-employed instructors, trainers and teachers to carry out the organisation's purposes. What your organisation does
The organisation coordinates and delivers community and cultural events, education and training programmes, practical workshops and residential seminars to the general public and to interested parties in the area of benefit. Our experienced tutors and trainers tailor packages to the particular needs and specific requirements of individuals and
groups. In addition to events management, training and community education, our charity has an income generating arm that manufactures and retails personalised and customised products via our online shop. The organisation also arranges regular exhibitions, workshops and craft displays and hires space within a variety of community and civic venues where people can learn, socialise and share their experiences.
