Public benefits
The direct benefits from our purposes are that by providing the activities we are providing a safe, warm and welcoming environment for members. Members feel less isolated as they are able to leave their home, meet others and share stories over a cup of tea and a snack. Members are able to benefit from a range of low cost activities which is
important as most members are on a low income. The benefits can be demonstrated through the numbers that attend our weekly meetings. We keep weekly records of attendance. Members regularly feedback on the activities provided at the Club. There is no harm arising for any of the purposes The beneficiaries are older people aged 65 years + There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes
What your organisation does
We provide a weekly social outlet for older people from across Caledon, Greystone, Dyan, Brantry, Tullygiven, Granville, Benburb and its environs in Co Tyrone. We provide a range of activities for members including arts and crafts, music and movement, networking with similar groups, speakers on relevant issues for older people e.g. safety in the
home.
