Public benefits
The direct benefits flowing from the purposes of the organisation are that children from Kildress and surrounding area have access to a suitably supervised youth club where they can meet, play, learn and generally enjoy themselves while at the same time developing personal skills to prepare them for later life and as members of our society. The
parents also benefit in that they are able to send their children to the youth club knowing that they would be well cared for, well supervised and encouraged to develop as healthy young boys and girls in a warm safe environment where everyone will be treated as equal. The benefits can be demonstrated by the number of children attending each activity, by the constant monitoring by the youth club supervisors and by feedback from the children themselves and from their parents which will be sought at regular intervals. There is no harm arising from the purposes of this organisation. The beneficiaries of this organisation are children and young people from Kildress and district and their parents. There is no private benefit flowing from any of the activities of this organisation.
What your organisation does
The organisation runs a youth and community club in a local hall. The club meets weekly with juniors in one evening and older children on another evening. These children are supervised by suitably qualified adults who are Access NI checked and possess the skills to develop the children by using a range of activities, games and educational
challenges and talks suitable to their age.
