Public benefits
The direct benefits which flow from the purposes of Mourne All Blacks Amateur Boxing Club include improve physical and mental health for the beneficiaries, reduction in feeling isolated and the learning of new skills which contribute to a more settled and peaceful community. We can demonstrate that about 70 to 80 people use our facilities on a
weekly basis. Boys and girls and young adults (both sexes) regularly come to our hall to practice and train and many of them go on to participate in amateur boxing tournaments throughout the country. Potential harm that would flow from the purposes of Mourne All Blacks Amateur Boxing Club would be the risk of injury to those participating in the sport of boxing. This risk however is managed and mitigated by the provision of training and suitable equipment. The charity's beneficiaries are the people of South Down . There is no private benefit flowing from any of the purposes.
